There are SO many opportunities out there!
There are SO many things you could be doing!
There are SO many ways to make money online!
But the question is…
How do you decide what to focus on?! 🤔
My struggle
Since I started my $1m challenge, this is pretty much all I think about every single day.
I’m trying to figure out what to do next.
What’s the best use of my time and energy?
I know that if I work on something, I’ll be able to complete the task no matter what that is.
I did it in the past with:
- my first YouTube channel: it got 100,000 subscribers
- coding course: it made over $160,000 in revenue
- my first SaaS, iCodeThis: $64k in revenue with 50,000 members
- ebook: $27k in revenue
The problem now is that I have all these things going on, and on top of that, I have new projects that I’ve been working on:
- a new YouTube vlog channel
- a new community
And on top of that I get tons of ideas constantly popping in my head! 🙃
So how do I decide what to focus on?
How do I choose what to work on?
Each project requires a lot of time and energy and each one of them has the potential to make me more money and get me closer to my goal.
The (current) solution
While sharing my struggle on Twitter, someone sent me this post by Derek Sivers that says:
Don’t be a donkey!
The problem is thinking short term — assuming that if you don’t do all the things now, they won’t happen.
The solution is to think long term. Do just one thing for a few years, then another for a few years, then another.

WOW! 🤯
This is exactly what I needed to hear.
I don’t have to do EVERYTHING right now.
I just have to pick something, focus on it, see what works and what doesn’t, and then pivot accordingly.
Afterall, I’m still only 30 years old. There’s plenty of time, right? 🤷♂️
So now all I have to do is to decide what to work on first.
Easy peasy! 😬
