🚀 Check out my $1,000,000 journey!

I failed before

3 min read

Back in September 2021, I set a public goal to make $1m by my 30th birthday).

I had exactly 1000 days to complete this challenge.

It started out great, I even made $20k in a single month (August 2021), but after a few months I ended in a nasty burnout.

It took me almost a year to recover from that burnout.

What happened?

Everything started well, I was determined to make it happen and I even started streaming daily on Twitch, sharing everything I was doing.

It was really fun, people were supportive and I managed to launch a few products which made some money.

I was leveraging my YouTube channel and X (Twitter) to drive traffic to my products and also to take on sponsorships.

But somewhere along the line I got overwhelmed by the fact that I had to make it happen in a relatively short time frame.

This meant that I had to figure out how to blow up or how to find this big idea that would revolutionize the world, lol.

Instead of enjoying the process and taking things step by step, I started rushing and trying to do too much at once.

So at the end of 2021 I decided to take a break.

And I haven’t returned to it since. 😅

I gave up. And it felt bad, really bad.

I disappointed myself and I let down a lot of people who believed in me.

This took a toll on my self-esteem and confidence and I needed time to recover.

Much more time than I expected.

What is different this time?

I’m not the same person I was back then.

Working with some coaches helped me learn more about myself in the last 3 years and I feel like I’m more mature now.

I’ve learned that rushing is never a good idea.

This is why this time I’m taking things slow and I’m giving myself 10 years to make it.

If you haven’t, you can read about my new plan here.

I’m still figuring things out and I’m not sure what will happen in the future, but I’m excited to find out!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
